22/24 place Vendôme

Paris - 2011

The 22 Vendome operation is being developed behind the facades built by Jules Hardouin Mansart at the end of the XVIIth century. The space we have re-built extends to the Place Saint Honoré on three levels, but is windowless on the outside.

Our project focuses on natural light treatment by creating an atrium illuminated by a glassroof. A thin structure retains convex glass, following the innovative techniques conceived by Gianni Ranaulo. An ancient glassroof in concrete glass has been conserved and restored.
