It is in the entire Palais Royal that Percier and Fontaine have built the monument which houses today the Council of the Constitution. Its main staircase and its lounges have been restored in a traditional way, whereas the other rooms have been done in a contemporary style, blended into the older structures. The whole facade and roofs have also been restored.
This is why this monument has re-discovered its sumptuous decor while offering the necessary arrangements for the State services to function in comfort and security.
